Actress Bella Ramsey officially came out Sunday as a capable and perfectly adequate actress, following the season 2 premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us.

In a heartfelt statement posted to social media, Ramsey, acknowledged what critics have long suspected: that she is, in fact, doing a pretty solid job.

Fans of the video game series have been divided over Ramsey’s casting as Ellie, citing her inability to elicit the same amount of pedo-coded "nice guy" boners as her 14-year-old video game counterpart.

Nevertheless, Ramsey says she’s felt a deep sense of relief by embracing her adequacy, noting that she’s been able to been able to draw from her character's steadfast resolve when dealing with endless hordes of brain-dead zombies in the real world.

“I’m not fully immune just yet,” she admitted. “But I’m getting there.”

This season, Ramsey will be squaring off against Kaitlyn Dever, who herself came out as an excellent performer some time ago.

“I’m happy that professional, competent actresses are getting such great representation this season,” said Ramsey. “And who knows, maybe the mushroom zombies will grow bigger tits this year. That way everyone can have something nice to look at.”
